Protecting Students from School Sexual Abuse

Jan 6, 2021 | Sexual Abuse

Sexual exploitation and abuse occurs in our schools at an alarming frequency. Students are extremely vulnerable to sexual predators who often groom victims in ways that may not be apparent to parents and school staff.

PCVA’s Darrell Cochran explains what parents and caregivers need to be aware of to protect their children from experiencing sexual abuse at school. While COVID-19 is at the forefront of our minds, it’s important to not lose sight of the threat of school sexual abuse.

If you suspect a teacher, coach, bus driver, or other staff member may be a potential threat at your child’s school, call (253) 777-0799 to speak with one of our experienced, caring attorneys.
