In 2016, Donald J. Allison was sentenced to 26.5 years behind bars for child molestation and child rape of children under the age of 12. Allison, who had his education license permanently revoked, abused his victims while employed in various capacities at several schools in Washington State, California and Alaska, including:
- Crescent City Seventh-day Adventist Christian School, Crescent City, California
- Mountain View Christian School, Sequim, Washington
- Camp Lorraine, operated by Wrangell Seventh-day Adventist Church, Vank Island, Wrangell, Alaska
- Olympia Christian School, Olympia, Washington
