Lesley graduated from the University of Georgia cum laude in 2017. During law school she dedicated herself to public interest organizations, receiving an Equal Justice Foundation fellowship the summer of her first year to intern at the Federal Defender Program in Atlanta where she represented indigent clients on death row in Georgia, and going on to chair the fellowship program in her third year. She continued her habeas work through the Capital Assistance Project in her second year, and was a member of the Appellate Litigation Clinic and the Georgia Law Review in her third year. After graduating law school, she joined a mid-size law firm in Atlanta practicing commercial litigation, where she was awarded the “Pro Bono All Star” award two years in a row for her dedication to litigating housing cases on behalf of clients who could not otherwise afford representation.
In her free time, Lesley enjoys reading, cooking, and getting outside and exploring everything the Pacific Northwest has to offer.
